Sep 03, 2021: TOAF has contributed to St. John’s Medical College Hospital’s fund for poor patients suffering from neurological and neurosurgical problems whose survival depends on emergency decisions. An example is a patient with a stroke in the brain who, if treated within the golden hour, has a good chance of returning to an almost normal life and who, otherwise, may face paralysis or death.
